Since our senior high Youth vs. Wild trip has been such a blessing to many students and leaders alike, we created a middle school experience – Youth vs. Wild Jr. High Edition!
One advantage of the junior high event is that we will be staying at the church and driving to and from Starved Rock together for a day of adventure. Now, the Fox River doesn’t exactly have white water, nor is it the wilds of Northern Wisconsin, but we will have a blast canoeing, none the less. We will enjoy great food, campfires, worship, God’s Word, and some epic games. All in all, we will have an awesome time building relationships while focusing on God’s Word and will for our lives.
This camp is for students entering 7th through 9th grades.
The cost is $60 and includes canoeing, dinner, hiking, and lodging!
Tentative Schedule
Wednesday, June 23rd
10:00 am: Drop off at Harvest
1:00 pm: Canoe trip! (Ayers Landing in Wedron, IL)
5:00 pm: Dinner
6:30 pm: Starved Rock for hiking
10:00 pm: Campfire with Worship & Message at Harvest
11:30 pm: Late night games
Thursday, June 24th
1:00 am: Lights out
8:00 am: Breakfast
9:00 am: Devo
10:00 am: Pickup

Overnight Necessities for sleeping at the church

Extra pair of clean dry clothes in case you get wet/dirty
