M4 Pastor's Conference

Revitalizing Your Church and Renewing Your Ministry

Are you a Pastor or ministry leader looking for a different kind of conference, one that speaks directly to what you’re dealing with today? M4 Ministry Enrichment Conference was born with men like you in mind. This year, we’ve extended the conference length to provide you more encouragement from God’s Word, more time to interact on important topics, plus opportunities to sit down one-on-one with experienced ministry leaders. We’re looking forward to seeing you in November!

Pastor Scott Poling

Scott can relate. He knows what it’s like to be the only pastor in a very small church answering the phone and opening the mail. He also knows what it’s like to practice delegation and oversight of a larger staff. He understands the pressures of ministry and all the criticisms that come with it. After serving as Senior Pastor at Harvest New Beginnings for 24 years, he has gained a unique perspective on ministry and leadership which allows him to speak into pastors’ lives. He speaks your language.

Scott grew up in and around Ocean City, New Jersey and at the age of 17 received Christ as his Savior. He graduated from Cedarville University and Dallas Theological Seminary and has been married to his wife, Carla, for 28 years. They have 5 children from age 12 to 25, plus one son-in-law and are looking forward to their first grandchild ( a boy!). Scott’s heart is for encouraging and building up pastors and other leaders in ministry.

Outside of being a pastor, Scott enjoys trail running with his Weimaraner, Scout, hiking America’s national parks and running both marathons and ultra-marathons.

Pastor Pat Nemmers

Pat loves the Lord’s people, His church and takes the responsibility of leadership seriously. His years of ministry have been blessed with seeing many saved and the church’s influence grow. Pat is currently the Lead Pastor at Saylorville Church in Des Moines, Iowa where he has served for 21 years overseeing much growth, expansion of facilities and four church plants. He has a passion to come alongside other pastors to help navigate the sometimes rough patches that can come while leading a church family.

Pat grew up in Waterloo, Iowa and trusted Christ as Lord and Savior shortly after hearing the Gospel while working in a John Deere tractor factory. He attended bible college in Ankeny, Iowa and served 12 years at Holmes Baptist Church in Clarion, Iowa before being called to Saylorville. Pat and his wife Marilyn have 10 children and 20 grandchildren (and counting!)

Why should I attend M4?

M4 is a conference for those who want to:

  • Learn from the ministry struggles and successes of others
  • Receive encouragement from the spoken Word
  • Catch a vision for the future direction of your ministry
  • Network with others in ministry

Who should attend?

M4 is geared toward pastors, but would be beneficial for any male staff or key volunteers seeking encouragement and enrichment in their ministry.

When does M4 take place?

Monday, November 4, 2019 (9:00am - 7:00pm) and Tuesday, November 5, 2019 (9:00am - 3:00pm).

What is an "Interactive Breakout Session"?

Facilitated by our two speakers, both of whom are experienced ministry leaders, participants will discuss pertinent topics with peers who understand and appreciate the challenges they face and the solutions they’ve actively used. Agenda topics are set based on the needs and interests of the group, so come prepared to ask questions and share your experience.

What is a "One-on-One Appointment"?

In order to give attendees with specific ministry questions which may not be addressed in the Interactive Breakout Sessions, or a desire to delve deeper into a particular ministry topic or area, M4 will be setting up 45 minute appointments in a designated area with one of our main speakers or a Harvest New Beginnings pastoral staff member to provide personal one-on-one discussion time. These appointments will be made on a first come, first served basis.

How do I request a One-on-One Appointment?

When you register, answer “Yes” to the question “Are you interested in participating in a one-on-one discussion time?” After your registration is complete, you will receive a separate email with an application form to fill out asking for details of your ministry and what areas you wish to discuss.  Once that form is returned, and as long as there are still appointment slots available, you will be paired with an experienced ministry leader that can be the most helpful to you based on your application.

What does it cost to attend?

Early Bird Registration through October 1st: $50.00

Regular Registration after October 1st: $65.00
